CitiFinancial Review
Any retail mortgage seller that services their own loans with this many consumer complaints ranging from mis-allocated payments to erroneous late fees should be avoided. CitiFinancial pushes home equity loans and debt consolidation mortgages which usually contain adjustable rates and other unfavorable terms.
Just click the link to read what I think of the debt consolidation mortgage.
From the standpoint of a bank customer who’s looking for a depositor bank, CitiBank even thought they have been hit by the mortgage crisis, should do better than most regional banks. But like all banks, never put more than the FDIC insured limit into any single bank.
It appears when I search for complaints against CitiFinancial, there are many. Click the link to see all the CitiFinancial complaints listed in Google.

I need info on filing harrassment charges on citi financial. They have called my daughter and son in law non stop at 6am to 8pm ( we have phone records). We lost our home and possesions as many others in these times of financial hardship. CitiFinancial set me up with the customer assistance plan. Good Right??? Well NO!!!! I have driven across town in Las Vegas traffic 25 miles 3 different times to sign these documents. I paid the money and they continue to call and harass stating once again we need to go and sign another paper…. they call my son’s phone when they are talking to me on my daughters phone.. Is this not harassment? We have done everything they said, jumped through their hoops, yet they still blame us for their inadequencies. How can we stop this harassment and get them to get their **** together??? Any suggestions?
