Bailout Mentality Folly Highlighted By Fred Thompson Video

A tongue-in-cheek video by Fred Thompson is on top of being absolutely hilarious…dangerously accurate. He clearly articulates the Washington mentality of spend, spend and SPEND some more as the solution to our current economic mess.
The Washington Bailout Mentality
Hank Paulson told us a few months back if we gave him $700 Billion in bailout money, he stave off a financial / banking catastrophe.
We did….and he didn’t.
The catastrophe showed up anyway. The banks still aren’t lending to each other, they are hording Paulson’s bailout money, and when they do spend, it’s usually for executive bonuses or sales retreats.
Auto Maker Bailout
A bailout mentality permeates everything in the public and private sectors.
Now we hear the auto makers need billions!
The same auto companies who killed the electric car back in 1994 after selling the battery technology to the oil companies (so they could bury it) need $34 billion to stay afloat.
My thought…go ask the oil companies for the $34 billion… you took care of them when you killed the electric car….they own you one.
I also heard a school district in Ohio needs $100 million and of course, if this bailout happens, every State and municipal government will also find their way to the trough as well.
Hank did a lot of damage when he supported Government bailouts of private companies…let’s hope the mentality doesn’t spread to Main Street…with Fred Thompson’s help, maybe it won’t.
Enjoy the Video…
Good Luck!
