Since Central Loan Administration & Reporting (CENLAR) deals primarily with sub-servicing loans, you may find them unable to modify your loan since they are not the actual lender. You can get the name of the lender from CENLAR and contact them directly for loan modification questions.

Dealing with Cenlar we have a mortgage that fell behind,we are experiencing difficulty in having this company take payments. such as sending back cashiers cheques on two occassions, then being charged a fee for doing so after they agreed to taking the payments, then insisting on Western Union only. this has happened twice putting us further behind.
Mortgage service representatives intentionally asking for a payment of $100 less than what would make a full payment and holding the balance as unapplied because they put it towrd late fees, etc.
I have had an overall good experience with Cenlar . However, they sent my last tax payment that was due a little late.
