We attempted to refinance our 1st mortgage with Wells Fargo but Home Federal would not agree to stay subordinate as the second lender. Our credit scores are excellent and our incomes are high. The only reason given was that they were not willing to stay second in line at that time for refinancing’s. Our payment would have been lowered by sevaral hundred dollars. Home Federal is a greedy bank that is perpetuating the current housing crisis. I would highly recommend not doing business with this bank.
